Peter Miller

Peter Miller is a founding partner of Palette Architecture. A registered architect with over 20 years of experience, his work has focused on designing and implementing innovative building systems and components. His notable projects include Grace Farms in New Canaan, CT; The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA; the Revitalization of Forest Park in St. Louis, MO; the Confluence Master Plan of Missouri/Illinois; and NYC-HPD’s Small Lots Development Program. Peter’s work has earned esteemed design awards, including several AIA National Honor Awards and the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize. Additionally, his work has been featured in prominent publications, including Architectural Record, Elle Decor, Fast Company, Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.

Originally from Indiana, Peter comes from a family of craftsmen, engineers, entrepreneurs, and tinkerers. He values the creative process of turning ideas into physical form and considers it a privilege to create spaces for others, positively impacting lives through the built environment. In addition to his role at Palette, he is a Director of the Executive Board of AIA-NY and a Design for Freedom Working Group member. Peter holds a B.S. in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and an M. Arch. from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at Columbia University.
